Your studio page is a public web page where new families find your studio and apply for lessons. This article covers how to publish the page, share its link and put the application form on your own website. For the form settings and how to review applications, see Applications.
The studio page and the application form are on every plan. Only the owner can open Owner Settings.
Publish your studio page
- Open Owner Settings and choose the Studio Site tab.
- Set the Slug. It is the end of your page link. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Click Save Changes to save it.
- Turn on Publish your studio page. The page is off until you turn it on.
- Add a Tagline (up to 200 characters) and an About text (up to 2,000 characters).
- Click Save Site Settings.
Copy URL puts your page link on your clipboard. After you publish, Preview your studio page opens the page in a new tab.
If you change the slug, the old link stops working. Share the new link.
What the page shows
- Your Display Name from the Branding tab, or your studio name if you did not set one.
- Your logo and brand colors from the Branding tab.
- Your tagline and about text from the Studio Site tab.
- Your email, phone, address and website from the General tab.
- An Apply Now button and an application section, when the application form is on.
Turn on the application form
On the Applications tab, turn on Enable Applications, then click Save Application Settings. Applications are off at first. For the other controls on this tab, such as the form text, the optional questions and who gets an alert, see Turning on the application form.
The form works only while your studio page is published.
Share the form or put it on your website
- Share your page link. Click Copy URL and send the link to families, or add it to your emails and social media. Families click Apply Now on the page.
- Put the form on your own website. The Embed Code card on the Applications tab shows when applications are on. Click Copy, then paste the code into an HTML or custom code block in your website builder. The form shows inside your own page.
If your studio page is not published, the form on your website shows "Studio not found". If applications are off, it shows "Applications are currently closed."
Where applications arrive
When a family applies:
- The application goes to the Applications page, and the number of pending applications shows next to Applications in the sidebar. Owners, admins and staff see this page. Teachers do not.
- The Needs you list on your dashboard shows a "new trial request" row.
- The roles that you turn on in Notify on New Applications (Owner and Admin) get a bell notification and an email.
- The family gets a "We received your application" email. Trio sends it only when your studio has an email address on the General tab of Owner Settings.
Owners and admins approve, waitlist or deny an application. Staff can open and read it. See Applications for the review steps.
If a family sees "Studio not found"
Your studio page is not published, or the family has a link with an old slug. Turn on Publish your studio page and click Save Site Settings. Then click Copy URL and send the family the current link.
