Week in Review

Week in Review is a weekly recap of your studio's activity. Every Sunday evening Trio sends each staff member an email, a notification-bell entry, and an optional push notification, each linking to a persistent report you can reopen any time.

When it arrives

Trio generates the report every Sunday at 7 p.m. in your studio's timezone. It summarizes the completed week (Sunday through Saturday) and previews the coming week. Trio skips a quiet week with no activity, no follow-ups, and no upcoming lessons, so an empty report never lands in your inbox.

The email carries the same figures as the in-app report, without any dollar amounts. Open the report from the email button, the bell, or Week in Review in the teacher portal.

What the report shows

The Week in Review history page lists your past reports, newest first. Open one to see:

  • Practice - logged practice minutes and how many of your students practiced during the week.
  • Lessons & attendance - completed lessons for the week (a group lesson counts once), any lessons still unmarked, and your attendance rate. A change versus the prior week appears for practice and lessons.
  • Communication - messages you sent during the week and how many families you reached.
  • Billing - paid, outstanding, and overdue invoice counts. This card is for owners and admins only, and it shows counts, never amounts.
  • Follow-ups - up to three items that need attention: unmarked attendance, missing lesson notes, and overdue invoices (owners and admins).
  • Week ahead - scheduled lessons and students for the coming week.

Each card links into the matching area of Trio - the attendance report, the lesson worklist, or billing - with the report's dates carried into the destination where it supports them.

What you see by your role

  • Owners and admins see studio-wide figures and the billing card and follow-up.
  • Teachers and staff see their own teaching scope: lessons they teach and students they are the primary teacher for. The billing card does not appear.

Trio rechecks your role each time it sends and each time you open a report, so the report always matches your current access. Historical figures are frozen when the report is generated; follow-ups and the week ahead refresh when you open the report and carry an "as of" time.

Turning it off

Week in Review is on by default. To stop receiving it, open Notification Settings and turn off the Week in Review topic. Push notifications also require push to be enabled and a registered device. Turning the digest off stops the email, bell, and push together.
